The Arturia MiniLab 3 Black is a 25-note MIDI controller keyboard packed with creative features for hands-on music production. Designed for seamless integration with your DAW, the MiniLab 3 requires minimal setup. In addition to your DAW, it supports up to five user programs. With eight rotary encoders, four sliders, and eight pads, you can precisely control and play your sounds. Two capacitive touch strips enable pitch bending and modulation, while the +Oct and -Oct buttons let you easily change octaves. The built-in arpeggiator is ideal for creating rhythmic melodies and live performances.

Equipped with a 5-pin DIN output, the MiniLab 3 can connect to MIDI-compatible instruments and vintage synths, allowing for DAW-free music creation. The USB-C connection supports a range of devices, including phones and tablets. slim keyboard accommodates various playing styles with expressive articulation. The eight RGB backlit pads are both pressure and velocity-sensitive, with two banks offering a total of 16 samples to play and manipulate. You can map the eight rotary encoders and four vertical sliders to any compatible hardware or software parameter, ensuring a seamless creative workflow.

Accessing the arpeggiator is simple: hold the shift key and press the first pad, then adjust settings using the rotary dials or main encoder. Control buttons on the top left of the MiniLab 3 allow you to navigate utilities and change presets, including hold and chord modes. The Oct- and Oct+ buttons facilitate quick octave shifts, and two capacitive strip sensors provide modulation and pitch bend. The built-in mini display and clickable browsing knob offer real-time feedback on adjustments.

The MiniLab 3 connects and powers through USB-C, compatible with both Apple and Microsoft computers, as well as Android and iOS devices. Arturia’s custom DAW scripts enable automatic integration with major DAWs, simplifying setup and enhancing workflow. The integrated transport control allows you to record and playback without needing to interact with your DAW.

You can also control other instruments and equipment through the five-pin DIN output, connecting to vintage synthesizers for DAW-free music making. The control input accommodates pedals for sustain, expression, or footswitch functions. The included software bundle features Ableton Live Lite and over 500 synth and keyboard presets.
