Denon DJ have announced the introduction of their new PRIME 2 and PRIME GO smart DJ consoles.
Both units share a 7-inch HD touchscreen UI interface, standalone Wi-Fi music streaming and are powered by the lightning-fast ENGINE OS platform. PRIME GO adds a rechargeable lithium-ion battery to the mix, to provide extreme portability.
According to Denon, these ‘Smart DJ’ consoles represent the pinnacle of fully-featured, no-compromise pro-level gear for mobile and club DJs. With their 7-inch HD touchscreens, the PRIME 2 and PRIME GO bring a feature-rich, creative workflow for DJs. A class-leading time stretch and key-shift algorithm, the ability to play uncompressed music file formats plus on-board music management, track preview, internal file analysis and ‘direct to media source’ set recording help back up this claim.
One of the highlights of the PRIME GO, is that its powered by an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery yet utilises the same multicore-powered standalone performance, of some of the more expensive less portable units for sale. The PRIME GO is able to access and play back digital files from multiple media sources, While the PRIME GO includes a built-in internal HDD bay.
