The CLA 208SA is a professional-grade active subwoofer designed for live performance applications. It features two 8-inch drivers in a bass-reflex design, housed in a sturdy birch ply enclosure. The subwoofer incorporates a Class D amplifier with a power output of 600W, a switch-mode power supply, and a DSP processor with filtering functions, equalization, and speaker protection.
One of the main purposes of the CLA 208SA is to extend the low-frequency performance of the CLA 604A column speaker in live sound setups. The subwoofer can be mounted in front of the column speaker or placed on an optional stand using the M20 socket on top of the sub.
